Ability to change Root username to custom one for Security! so no one even know the username to try it.

1) Disabe root login.

2) Use password of sufficient length and complexity.

3) Disable password authentication.

4) Change the port that SSH runs on.

5) Create a user (with a password as in step 2) and add him to the wheel group.

6) Generate PPK for this user.

7) Add the email on root log in patch.


All very easy stuff to do and a lot better than simply changing the root user name which has many other undesired implications.
