Advance CNAME Wildcard

Add the ability for DNS CNAME wildcard with letter. For example, to have the CNAME point to Amazon cloud, the CNAME would be similar to C*.website_name.com:gssb1-994039615.us-east-1.elb.amazonaws.com:86400. Currently, the C* is not an allowable address in cPanel, but is through out DNS services.

What are you requesting is not currently possible with today's DNS systems.

Per RFC 4592, which describes the use of wildcards in DNS, it is *not* valid to have anything else other than an asterisk by itself.

"No label values other than that in section 2.1.1 are asterisk labels, hence names beginning with other labels are never wildcard domain names. Labels such as 'the*' and '**' are not asterisk labels, so these labels do not start wildcard domain names."

Further, manually attempting such a record with BIND itself (not utilizing cPanel & WHM in any way) further demonstrates this is not existing functionality.

Note that wildcard functionality as explained by that RFC *does* work with cPanel & WHM. This includes wildcard records like "*.domain.tld" and "*.cloud.domain.tld".

Essentially, the functionality you're requesting is explicitly disallowed by RFC and DNS design. Therefore, this cannot be implemented into cPanel & WHM.
