I'd like to see cpanel provide the mysqld_safe script with NUMA aware options. This can lead to better performance for MySQL on hardware that supports it. I use this on an unmanaged MySQL setup on cPanel. Attached you can find the edited mysqld_safe script that is NUMA aware enabled. This could be set as disabled as default setting but in case someone would like to enable it , make cpanel updates not complain about altered mysqld_safe script , or maybe you can find a better way to do this.
