2. Brief Description

--------------------------------------

When /etc/hosts contains "localhost" entry for something not 127.0.0.1, EA fails: " localhost did not have any working mirrors."

--------------------------------------

3. Step by Step Instructions

--------------------------------------

A) Add a localhost entry in /etc/hosts for something that is not 127.0.0.1. Here's an example:

1.2.3.4 server.example.com server localhost.localdomain localhost

Obviously, "localhost" is not valid on that line, since that line is for 1.2.3.4 (and not 127.0.0.1, or perhaps 127/8).

--------------------------------------

4. Detailed Explanation

--------------------------------------

EA fails when /etc/hosts contains an entry for localhost which is not 127.0.0.1.

--------------------------------------

5. Suggested Resolution

--------------------------------------

Ignore localhost entries in /etc/hosts for IP addresses that are not 127.0.0.1 (or perhaps 127/8).

--------------------------------------

6. Known work around(s)

--------------------------------------

Manually fix /etc/hosts .
